Hootie and the Blowfish Monday after the Masters Event

April 12, 2010

This past weekend, I was invited to do my
long drive and trick shot show for the 16th annual
Hootie and the Blowfish Monday after the Masters
Charity Golf Outing.

The event was everything people said it would be and
I had an amazing time.

Ben Witter and Darius Rucker at Hootie and the Blowfish Event

The event's host, Darius Rucker was awesome both on the stage in concert
and also on the golf course.

I performed some of my best tricks for the crowd of more than
1,000 gathered around the first tee to watch players tee off.

The 10 foot driver while standing on the Swiss Ball
was a crowd favorite.

Juggling the ball and hitting it out of mid air with
people lining both sides of the tee added a unique
challenge to this shot, but I was able to pull it off.

The F-14 Fighter Plane Shot was a crowd favorite

Former Miami Dolphins QB, Dan Marino took part in
my show by pitching balls to me and having me hit them
out of mid air.

We started out with some easy shots standing on the ground

The shots out of mid air while standing on the Swiss Ball
even impressed Dan!

Oshkosh Defense was the company that sponsored my
appearance at the event and they had some of their
amazing hardware on display throughout the event.

Their support of our troops was awesome and the military guys
I met and had the chance to work with were real hero's.

A very special thank you to Stacy Heydon for
putting this whole thing together and inviting me
to do my show for the wounded soldiers and the
Hootie Outing.

Stacy, I don't know how you kept everything together
and running so smoothly.
