  • FAQ’s(frequently asked questions about our league and simulator)

    About League Play:

    • Q. I don’t have a foursome, am I still eligible for league play?
    • A.  YES!  We will be happy to line up a game for you or provide someone to attest your league round if you do not have regular playing partners.
    • Q. I’m planning a vacation and will miss two weeks, am I still able to compete in the league?
    • A.  YES!  Players are encouraged to complete their round each week to contribute to their team score, but weekly attendance is not mandatory to play in the league.
    • Q.  I don’t have an established USGA handicap; can I still play in the league?
    • A.  YES.  A league handicap will be calculated for each player after they have completed 18 holes of indoor play.

About our Simulator:

    • Q. I’ve heard that indoor simulators are unrealistic and inaccurate, is the simulator used in the league accurate?
      A.  YES.  The ABOUT GOLF indoor simulator represents the most state of the art, cutting edge system in indoor golf technology.  About Golf is continuously improving their hardware, software, detection and telemetry physics providing the most realistic, accurate, and consistent data available today.  About Golf is so real, you'll want to clean your clubs after every shot.
    • Q.  How do you putt?
    • A.  Putting, like every other shot on the ABOUT GOLF Simulator is played into a screen which contains a projected image of the hole along with data regarding the green such as slope, break, speed, distance, and wind.  Just like putting outdoors, if you figure out the speed and direction, you’ll be a great indoor putter.
